As the situation around the COVID-19 (coronavirus) continues to evolve, and as the World Health Organization has declared the outbreak a pandemic, we would like to inform everyone that Apex Martial Arts will be closed, effecive immediately.
We are doing our best to do our share in preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus and would like to ask for everyone's patience and understanding on this decision. Our number one priority is the safety and health of our families, friends and our community. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide further information as it develops. This pandemic will definitely be putting a strain on each of us in one way or another. We realize a few people have already asked me to put a hold on their membership. Apex may not be able to stay in business if membership drops, especially if this goes on for longer than a month. We are a small business and for us, each month of income counts. Play a little volleyball, try out the slack line, toss around the football or just chill and relax. Bring something to share and to throw on the grill. Friends and family are all welcome. Hope to see you there! We will be set up just on the grass area in front of the volleyball courts located on S.W. Marine Drive, west of Tolmie Street. Come early to secure your parking. KIDS MUAY THAI (Basic Level 1) Session 1 - Starting May 27 to June 26th Monday and Wednesday’s 5-6pm (10 classes) “Muay Thai is a combat sport of Thailand that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. This discipline is known as the "art of eight limbs" as it is characterized by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, and shins.” Apex will be offering for the first time ever, Kids Muay Thai Basic 5 week Program. For kids 8 and up. The program will cover the following: Basic stance, footwork, punches, kicks, knees and elbows. Apex Member Price - $100 for 5 week class $15 drop in Non Members Price - $140 for 5 weeks, $20 drop in.
